The IF-15 is a high performance model developed by Timmy Patterson, for the high flying and hard carving, WSL surfer Italo Ferreira.
This is the winningest surfboard on the WSL World Tour this year! The IF15 was under Italo's feet when he rang the Bell, blitzed Bali and punted to the top of the podium in Portugal!
As proven by Italo, this board can be surfed to the highest level imaginable. However what you might not expect is the IF15's slightly higher volume design, making it far more user friendly than any other board being ridden by the WSL top 34.
Part of this volume comes from the fuller wider nose, and smooth balanced outline, which not only aids paddle power, but gives the board an insane amount of stability through radical tweaked out manoeuvres.
A slight single concave runs through a moderate amount of rocker in the nose, and a constant curving medium tail rocker. These elements work together to keep rail catchiness to a minimum, and create a noticeable amount of "get up and go" speed, as soon as you get to your feet.
Soft low rails provide a forgiving feel, but can be pushed hard through the tightest arcs. The bottom of the rail sharpens past the side fins, into a crisp edge around the curve of the tight squash tail, providing maximum control throughout any type of manoeuvre.
