ACSOD Fox Tail Twin Fin Mid Length Surfboard

$1,100.00 $1,300.00
Description

Introducing the ACSOD Fox Tail. The first mid-length in the ACSOD lineup. Birthed as an extension of our popular Fox model.

Keeping the Gold Coast's point breaks in mind, the Fox Tail took all the favourite attributes of the original Fox and stretched them out for a more drawn-out approach.

The extra length maximises your paddle power to easily battle the sweep and catch waves early.

Once up and riding, you'll find yourself trimming with a ton of speed due to the straight outline and flat rocker. A vee bottom counteracts this to maintain a balanced rail-to-rail roll. Allowing for a fast, fluid and smooth approach.

OUTLINE

From nose to tail runs a parallel outline. This plan shape allows for maximum drive and speed.

ROCKER

The rocker is a low, continuous curve throughout the board. Great for planning over flat sections and maintaining speed.

BOTTOM SHAPE

A vee bottom gradually increases as it reaches the tail with a slight vee/double between the fins. The vee lifts the rail rocker, counteracting the flat rocker and straight outline for a smooth rail-to-rail roll. The sight vee/double between the fins adds control and extra squirt when applying pressure on the back foot.

RAILS

Medium/boxy down rails engage and allow for hold through maneuvers.

WRAP UP

The Fox Tail is the perfect addition to your quiver if you're looking for an increased wave count on a  board that will glide fast and do the work for you. 4-5ft+ you're harnessing the wave's power and driving through swooping carves. 2ft Peelers, you're going fast and trimming with ease.

SKILL LEVEL: Beginner to advanced

WAVE TYPE: Rolling, open-faced beach breaks & points

WAVE SIZE: 2-6ft

RIDE: 4 inches longer than your regular board as a minimum.
